And the Lord said to Paul one night in a vision, “Do not be afraid, but go on speaking and do not be silent, for I am with you, and no one will attack you to harm you, for I have many in this city who are my people." (ACTS 18:9-10)

History

Our story begins with Westminster Presbyterian Church in Bryan, TX. Since 1978, God has blessed that congregation with growth and a singular vision: to plant a church in its sister city, College Station. While the city of Bryan has no lack of churches within its geographical bounds, College Station has a startling lack of churches in its southern area and especially south of Rock Prairie Road. Because the city is geographically expanding to the south, more and more families are moving into our area. Demographically, we need to be planting churches here to serve them. But it would be short sighted to focus only on the demographics of a region when we must also consider the spiritual battle for the souls of people. From the unchurched to the de-churched, we know that the people in College Station desperately need gospel presence. God has people who belong in our midst, and we don't even know who they are yet. That is why we are here. God has a big heart for College Station.

In the Spring of 2020, with the full blessing of Westminster, Redeemer became its own mission church of the South Texas Presbytery, enjoying a mother-daughter relationship with WPC Bryan.

Meet

Pastor Ben

In June, 2017, Westminster called Reformed University Fellowship A&M pastor, Ben Hailey, to be the organizing pastor for this expanding congregation. Ben brings extensive area connections, a gift for gathering people, and a strong grasp on the transformative power of the gospel to bear as he starts his work. He, his wife Beth, and his children Hannah and Nathan have been living in College Station since 2008 and they are excited to see their ministry expand in their own neighborhood.

I am so glad I found this church. The sermons come straight from the Bible which is important to me. I have met some very caring and loving people at Redeemer.

Emily Moore

We have never really had a family life style while growing up. Ever since God placed us with Redeemer, we have found that family in the church. Everyone is always there for us when we are in need, and leans on us when they're in need. We love them all so much and are excited to see new family members come into the church!

We've been supported through difficult times by our church family at Redeemer, and get to hear that our sins are forgiven through Jesus each week.
